Hmmm, although male weaves are different from female weaves, he has just given me insight on how to stop a harmful weave of saidin aimed at me...
Tucking this valuble information away in her head, Ladish lead Sky up to a small in and dismounted, tossing her reins to a stable boy who had seen them coming. She pushed back her hood as she stepped into the brightly lighted common room. Many people spared her no more than a glance, maybe some spared two for her fine clothing, or her smooth face, but a select few went wide eyed and leaned to their friends beside them, whispering hurriedly, causing their friends eyes to go wide, then cause both to stare at her, then at Ailurin, nodding hesitantly to one another as if confirming their whispers. The innkeeper was familiar with her, however, and the short little man smiled warmly when she entered,
"Ah, Ladisha Sedai, how good to see you again," his words brought more stares in her dircetion. Light, some people were rude! Nodding and smiling back at the innkeeper, she let her gaze pass slowly over the patrons and they quickly went back to whatever they were doing. Even a few of the women squeaked and blushed!
"I will be requiring a room until the storm passes, Master Tolan," she directed at the innkeeper once her gaze returned to him
"Of course, my lady, would you and your...escort please follow me?" Tolan cast a curious look at Ailurin, having not seen him before, but led them to the top floor in her reserved room, unlocking it and handing her the key, "Here you are, Aes Sedai. If you need anything, you know where to find me,"
Ladisha thanked the man and pushed the door open. There was nothing particularly special about her room. It was a little bigger than the rest, the furniture finer and a goose down comforter on the large bed. A small writing table was tucked neatly in a lighted corner, and a large chest was at the foot of the bed. Soft carpets covered the floor to protect bare feet against the cold that seeped into the wood beneath. A sizeable washstand was in an adjoining room. She could stay here comfortably for the duration of the storm.
