Have you considered showing up in the daylight only ?
Have you considered simply killing Bohdi and company , picking up the Lanthorn , but then just carrying it around with you for three or six months until you feel like returning to the elven city ? Maybe stashing the Lanthorn someplace safe until you're ready for the grand finale ? With her dead she can interfere with nothing.
