The Party
A long, but peaceful walk was a decent change of pace from the ache and toil you'd awoken to what seemed like an eternity ago. The world around you seemed bent on ignoring your existance. Nothing really exciting was happening, but then nothing was bothering you, and after your days in the dungeon it seemed quite a treat just to walk freely.
Walking what you supposed was straight North, the daunting sea of grass around you steadily became a memory. The sun set, and a haunting, beautiful twilight crept across the land, the stars beginning to wake in the cloud mottled sky. You came over hill after hill with an aching feeling of natural disheartenment filling you; there was no telling when you would reach civilization.
