IC- Duo and Skye looked at eachother, then looked back at Laisrean. Duo grinned. "Rather interesting story, that. As all vampyres do, I was going out to find some nice, er, prey. I stumbled upon a human village, who were going to kill Skye, who was accused of being a witch. Superstitious lot, some mortals are. Well, I figured I might as well have her, if she's going to die anyways. But things never work out as a person wants to, and after some interesting conversations, we became companions." Skye spoke up. "She promised to harm me, and in return I try to make her remember what it's like to feel emotion. I can't imagine how it would feel, to be unable to feel anything..." she shivered.
Duo looked up at Laisrean. "Plus I have some personal interest in preserving her magical talent, as I find it to be useful for the good of mortality and immortality alike. I suppose we could be considered friends. You have any interesting life story to tell?"
