The way I have found success in the games I participate in and create is that you already have to have a membership base formed...let me explain it this way...

Most of the people that frequent this forum are regulars. People who are here all the time. These people are probably already involved in three or four games. I made a poll the other day that proved that the magority of players are in at least two games. So, it would be kinda hard for them to particiapate in another. I personally have killed off one of my own players to make time to play in another game before. So, catching the attention of these players can be hard.

One of my successes is that I have a perferred list of players I play with. These are people I know, trust, respect, love and admire. They can play with me on any game at any time, and we will always be happy. That makes alot of difference. How did I begin? I showed people that I could play their game...not my own. I mean...I showed people that I could die if I had to...or I could write tremendous stories when I was called upon to do so...that created a rich world that can be more seen than read. Also...people fear me, as I am the Forum God...but we won't go into that... j/k

Aside from that, there is little else to tell. You need to have a few friends that you trust, assigned to play with you. Then, invite one new person. Get to know that person very well...personally and publically. Know how he/she acts and thinks. Them when you start a new game,.,,that person is now in your "clan"...your preferred list of players. See what I mean? After doing that a while, there will be many games that you call successes...because you and your "friends" are sharing time together, creating wonderful stories.
