Brendon could feel the workings of magic within himself, and though he'd hoped it was a spell of healing, it was in acutality a spell of movement enhancement. Suddenly, his actions were magnified and he was able to scoot himself along the dirt and out of the way of the beast. By now, he realized that the others had finally caught up to the battle and were here to save his sorry life.
