Alliene stopped and put an arm around Calaethis, her face expression changing. She touched his cheek with a reasurring smile and stepped back. She whirled around and pounced on Kaltia, grabbing the drow by the collar and pulling her an inch away from her face,

"A personality problem? Me? Tell me then. Have you lived with the drow for a hundered years and been treated like crap because you look different, and the only one to protect you is your mother? Have you ever been taken hostage by a band of humans and been raped and tortured for days on end?!" her voice was deadly quiet, "If you havnt, then don't even call me shelfish. There is a reason the way I am. Things like that change a person. And I don't want what happened to me happen to my cousin," she released Kaltia and pushed her away, her eyes shining, a hand now on Vilzraquath.
