ooc>>Welcome back, Cerek! IC>>

KINN'ZUWANNIK(He is disturbed from his nap by the little orc, who tells him of the arrival of a messenger of the Order. He tells the orc to let the messenger in.)
MESSENGER (He is merely a man-at-arms, and is awestruck by the sight of the great black dragon, coiled lithely in the center of a bowl-shaped depression, The sour reek of acid is everywhere. He swallows his fears and addresses the creature.) "O Kinn'zuwannik, I bear you tidings and a gift from Sir Bors, the Preceptor of the Order of the Radiant Heart of Lathander."

KINN'ZUWANNIK(Smiles to himself, almost purring)"A gift from the noble Sir Bors? I wonder what it could be? Give it to my servant." (The little orc bustles up and takes the carefully wrapped item and unwraps it.) "Careful, you fool! If you damage it, I will torment you for a year before you die. Ah! My pretty!" (His claw shoots out, surprisingly delicately, and clasps the Vase Of Peace of Mind. He gazes at it rapturously, then carefully places it in a pouch, which contains the most important part of his hoard, and hangs it around his neck. To the orc.) "All right, worm, climb aboard my back. Too many know about this place for my peace of mind." (He chuckles at the draconic pun.)"We must be off to my old cave, down at the swamp. This dry air gives my scales the itch."

(The little orc climbs aboard, and the dragon leaves the cave and is instantly airborne, leaving the messenger stunned, without giving his message. Two hours flight time brings them to the Great Enfereneous Swamp, where they slide into a carefully hidden entrance. Bugbears and goblins surround them, and greet the dragon obsequeously. He doffs the pouch as the little orc carefully descends from his back. The dragon then disappears into the cave, bearing the pouch.)
