OOC>> Greetings all! Since there seems to be no immediate help forthcoming for Legolas, Mistral has given me the OK to come to his aid. I know some of you were already aware of this, just wanted to make sure that everyone knew what was happening.....and to take a chance to say "Hello" to everyone again. The Hunter moved cautiously through the woods, listening for any sounds of the horrid creatures he had been encountering. When he first heard of the bounty for a mage named Julano, he thought it would be "easy money". ~after all, how tough could a spellslinger be?~ These last couple of days had proven the folly of his earlier thoughts. His skill at moving unseen had served him well once he neared the stronghold of this mage. He had begun to encounter undead creatures of almost every description. Most had never noticed him or had ignored him. Any who chose otherwise had been quickly dispatched. The other thing that bothered him about this bounty was the description of Julano. The physical stature and features described could very well describe half the male population of the land, if one gave it enough thought. The one helpful item on the original scroll was a description of some significant scars. That had bolstered his mood, until his travels took him to another town a few days later. He found another bounty scroll for Julano, but this one described a completely different set of scars. The physical description was also somewhat different.

It seems his prey was very skilled with disguises. Ah well....crafty prey simply makes the hunt that much more enjoyable.

He pondered these revelations as he continued to scout through the woods. He made no sound and left now sign of his passing. Indeed, he was invisible to the naked eye, so only the most wary of forest dwellers were even aware of his presence at all.

As he moved through the forest, he spied a small cabin. ~"now that would be a welcome break from sleeping in the rain", he thought. As he came closer to the cabin, though, he realized it was already occupied. He crouched low and moved silently to the side of the little dwelling until he was right beside one of the windows. He could hear two voices, one male, the other female, discussing plans to search for a friend inside the stronghold. The Hunter listened with some mild interest as they discussed different options. When the male voice suggested he would "let himself be captured", the hunter could not help himself. Without thinking, he rose up and peered into the window. He just had to get a look at the person who would be willing to be captured by a necromancer to save a friend. He saw a slender elf standing near the window. He was talking to a rather lovely girl and her affection for him was reflected in her eyes and by the look of concern that crossed her face at his suggestion.

Hunter moved away from the window and circled to the back of the cabin. Once there, he began to rub his bearded chin thoughtfully. He didn't normally like working with other people. The nature of his profession demanded someone who was very independent. Still, if this fool were willing to simply walk into the enemie's arms on his own, why shouldn't he "tag along". He hadn't found a way to enter the stronghold undetected on his own. Yes, the more he thought about it, the more he liked it. He removed a ring from his finger, dispelling his Invisibility. He then moved to the front door of the cabin and gently, but firmly, knocked on the door.

OOC>> Legolas and Sorsha see a man dressed all black leather armor. He stands 5'7" tall and would weigh around 185 to 190lbs. His frame is slender, but he moves with practiced grace. Close inspection reveals that he is half-elven. He has a sword strapped to each side of his waist, but the what captures your attention is the quiver of arrows in his back. It is a unique design tha curves around the contours of his back. No doubt it is custom made just for him. It's wide, narrow design holds more arrows than you can count.(it actually holds FAR more than it appears it could).

When neither the elf nor the girl answer the door, the hunter takes it upon himself to open it. He does so slowly and easily, so as not to cause any more alarm than they already feel. As he suspected, the elf is in front of the lady, sword in hand. He raises his own, empty hands, to show he means no harm.

"Please forgive my rude intrusion. I approached the cabin seeking shelter from the elements and creatures that are out. As I drew near, I could not help but overhear your conversation. I am also seeking this mage, Julano. Perhaps we could combine our efforts and aid each other. What say you?"
