The family crest on Talthus' shoulder is burning brightly now, and Talthus has an incredibly confused and shocked look on his face.
"...grim...it has to be you, there's no other way...I...don't know what to say grim...I've always been bad with my emotions..."
Talthus drops his sword point to the ground loosely
"for all things I must tell you right now, all I can say is that I can't express in words how good it is to finally see you my friend...I have searched long and hard for you and Kerric, I have also been searching for some others, but that's not important right now. Finally! Seeing you is like a huge weight off my chest! It has been a long 60 years my friend...but it makes little sense to speak here, join me in the tree won't you?"
Talthus slides his sword into the sheath and scales the tree he was just in. He leans against a thick, upturned branch and motions for Alasdair to come up.
