I designed one that was almost the same thing, except it was called the "Helm of Sanity" and made after Taerom Fuirim and Thalantyr (a master smith, and a mage, both from BG1) heard about Minsc. It confers immunity to all 'mental' attacks, including charm, confusion, psionics, Rigid Thinking, and Feeblemind, and it also casts Good Berries once per day, for Boo.
