Just a few timely reminders to help keep things running smoothly.
First of all, in a DM run game, the DM is the FINAL word on game issues IN THAT GAME. That's how games work in someone's living room and it's how they work here. Please respect the decisions of the Game Master or Dungeon Master in the game you are part of. Moderators are here to keep the ToS and maintain the general order, not settle game-based disputes (unless the mod is also the DM

).
Secondly, if there is no DM/GM for the game as it's a free form game, then I'd like to ask the originator of the thread to act as a 'game master' when disputes of a game nature(plot/character/consequences) come up. If you do not wish to do that, designate someone who will do so and is in the game.
Please remember these are just games, a way to pass the time pleasantly. Not real battle zones or places to make earthshattering points of politics or world view. Games are for having fun!
I'm going to keep asking our wonderful, but overworked webmaster for a sub-section where we can register characters for dm'd games and list their stats, histories, etc., as well as short descriptions of games as they are started, including details the DM wishes made available to players (such as races who inhabit various places, gods of the realm, who is in power and the basic premise or any other point they want to make). It may not be possible for a while as he's got a lot of things to attend to with the new rpg's coming out and NWN is going to be huge. But we will work at it and in the meantime, try posting your info in one thread separate from your game. It helps all the players and the dm keep track of the important details.
