Yet the force of the hug brought home a gush of warm relief and he met Cyrus' concerned gaze more intently, his grey eyes glittering ~ "Heh, you'll have to forgive this casual greeting... bloody is right!" ~ Surveying the carnage around ~ "Everything's a mess with Brenner incapacitated, and I... well, I'm almost completely flummoxed." ~ He gave a youthful grin, followed by a mock scowl ~ "Remind me again why we're doing this."
