sorry for not being more original. as for his story, here it comes:
a long time ago, Jonathan was the right hand of a long lost evil god. he served his god well and had so much power, that it was compareable to his gods power. one day, he wanted to kill his god and become a god himself. he offered a challege to his god. however, he lost and the god killed him, but before killing him, he took most of Jonathans power also. some time later Jonathan got ressurected. he became a powerful enemy of the lost gods illithids so the illithids imprisoned him in a huge war.
