Khalist leaps towards it's central eye and draws a dagger from his belt as he does so, he points the dagger towards the eye intending to stab it. Unfortunately he instead strikes the beholder's "brow" above the eye, angering it more than doing any damage.
The beholder unleashes a blast of energy(Cause serious wounds) from one of it's eyestalks, this blast flings Khalist across the clearing and into a tree which he almost goes through.
Khalist is knocked unconscious....
