That would make you a more powerful Kensai obviously, with an extra proficiency point, extra bonus to THAC0 and damage, and probably an extra Kai per day, but it would mean that you'll lose out on 1 6th level, 2 7th level, 2 8th level and 2 9th level spell slots.
I myself am a great fan of Wizards and spellcasting, so I would dual at level 13, but it's your call, of course, if you find it more profitable like this, then by all means, go for it.
