Sorsha
She walks towards the High Priestess, now donning pristine white robes and wearing a simple amulet ~ "Thank you for accommodating me, Reverend Mother." ~ The glow on her cheeks a reflection of her inner peace ~ "I have learnt so much from you, and I would gladly stay, but my friends may be in danger..." ~ Reluctance flitting across her azure blue eyes.
"You must do what you feel is right, my child." ~ Calm is the reply, and fondness apparent ~ "We will always welcome your return, if you should wish it." ~ She draws out a familiar object, extending it towards Sorsha ~ "Would you like this back, Sorsha?"
Sorsha
Jerking back momentarily, she shakes her head hastily ~ "No, please... take it. I doubt I will ever be able to understand it, and it has brought more harm than good." ~ So what if it belonged to my mother? I don't feel comfortable with it... ~ She blinks once ~ And yet... ~ With renewed spirit, she turns towards the priestess again ~ "I must go now." ~ Her tone hardened.
She nods in understanding, removing the offending amulet out of sight ~ "You have now gained some experience in spellcasting, my child, so use your abilities well. Godspeed then, Sorsha."
Sorsha
With a final curtsey, she gets up and turns towards the main door, her every move more purposeful than ever before. The look of frailty now replaced by resignation ~ Time to face my destiny... ~ Turning the knob, she opens the door and steps forward, facing the outside world once more.
