She watches as he unpeels the bandage, her stomach involuntarily turning as she eyes the gruesome wound ~ What I must have been thinking! ~ Reaching out gently, she dabs some alcohol onto the gash, trembling as she feels his muscles tense in an effort to contain the agony.

Bit by bit now, she works her way from the top to all over his injuries, her fingers at times fumbling, so terrified is she of hurting him further.

"Oh, Silas..." ~ Her teary voice quivers as a similar pain infects her heart ~ How much torment he must have gone through... ~ Blinking rapidly, she fixes her doe eyes on him ~ "I'm sorry if it hurts you." ~ A bare whisper.
