Murdock witnessed this spectacle of her shivering and pleading with mixed emotions. Yet, she had already done much for him, and she was going to allow him to tag along to learn from her...yet...why was she not more prepared for cold, starless nights? Giving in to kindness, plus the fact that she began to look cute again allowed him to speak up and say,

"Alas, you were not well prepared to fend off the cold, but I have a blanket here that is large enough to comfortably cover two, if you do not mind."

Without giving it much thought, Zahara was under the blanket and was huddled close to stop her shivering. Murdock decided to talk to her a bit.

"Hey! Wanna know how I got this blanket? Remember that house that we passed back on 3rd Street that had the fenced in gardens and the guard house and all that? Well, about 2 years ago..."

And so on did Murdock relate his adventure, until Zahara had quit shivering and had become warm and quiet.
