The name of the sword certainly suggests that it should, but it's just a +3 short sword with no other bonuses AFAIK

In terms of assassin weapons.....Belm is a good starting weapon, as is the Tuigan bow. Get Celestial Fury for incredible +7 backstabs, although the extra attack per round from Belm is more useful in melee situations.

When you can use any item

my fav. melee weapon is the Scarlet Ninja-To at the mo, since it's +3, has an additional attack per round, and poisons the victim. If the victim fails their saves with this baby, and the asassin has coated his weapon in poison, they will receive 36 poison damage with *each* hit....very nice!
