OOC: Welcome to theaboard Golden Flubba

IC: There was now fierce fighting going on on the two ships. From a reasonably secure bridge, the sub-commander watched as the cargo ship fired up it's engines to leave the planet's gravitational field.
Doubtlessly someone had ampered with it's engines as the ship suffered a cato (OOC: catastrophic engine failure where the engines blow out the front of the ship ). The erupting flames cast the ship into an eerie glow as giant mechanical contraptions and warpcores alike burst out of the vessle.
Sir Legolas turned his eyes from the beautiful, but grim, lightshow, knowing that now there would reign total panic on board, the fighting set in orange lights, flames scorching men and aliens alike as they exchanged laser pulses. The bridge was likely fully destroyed now, and no doubt doors were hastily being losed to limit hte decompression.
Men would be locked in rooms that would likely become their tombs, either by the beetles, through starvation or some ohter cause. Some might be beamed off the ship, but most would not come out alive.

He thanked the Weisi the cargo ship was the one with the least crew members, and vital only while the pulsar intrifier was still under constrction. If the engineers survived, if his ship survived, they would be able to complete their mission despite the loss of the ship.

The Sir left the bridge, guarded by nearly a dozen of men to find the High Admiral. His death would no doubt upset the Extrannigans, and he had information vital for their plan to take the planet Earth.
