You are correct as was the last post. the apple key +shift+3 will take a snapshot of the entire screen. It will be saved as a picture file. Double click on your hard drive and look for something that says Picture1 (or what ever number if ou have done this in the past).

Another way to take a picture is to use the following combo:

Apple+Shift+4 This will create a picture file of a rectangular sectuion of the screen. (after pressing ans releasing the key combination, position the cursor where you want and whil holding down the mouse button drag across the part of the screen you want to take a picture of.)

One last way of taking a screen shot is the following:

Apple+shift+4+capslock This creates a ppicture file of a window. (After pressing and releasing the key combo just click on the window that you want to take a picture of.)

As was mentioned in the previous post there will be a delay and if you have the sound up on your computer then you should hear a sound like a shutter clicking.
