Cursing under his breath, the policeman nearest the couple gestures for the rest to retreat ~ "Alright, alright... just remain calm." ~ His eyes resting on the terrorist unwaveringly ~ "State your demands."
She feels the tension in Arthur relax for a few seconds, before it returns ~ He's not one to take anything for granted. ~ The knot in her heart tightens as she acknowledges the fact that she is probably the only person in the world who can read his mind and character so well ~ Even after all these years...
"Now you're seeing some sense." ~ Arthur's voice reverberates in the air ~ "Firstly, I want this place cleared up by a radius of two hundred feet." ~ He presses the pistol closer to her temple ~ "Then I want a car. Make that a sports car."
"A...Arthur... you're hurting me..." ~ She moans, starting to feel giddy.
The policeman grabs his walkie-talkie and begins communicating with his colleagues ~ "Alright, he wants us to clear out. Two hundred feet radius. And a sports car." ~ Then turns to Arthur again ~ "We'll do what we can." ~ The crowds, along with the police begin to retreat.
