Neb had been following the tracks for several hours now and the sun was high in the sky, he spotted a tree a bit farther away in the direction that the tracks were taking him.
He sat down under the tree to relax when he got the idea of climbing up the tree to see if he could see Kaz or her Thri-Keen captors anywhere nearby.
After a few failed attempts resulting in some bruising Neb reached the top of the tree, he looked around and spotted, in a southeastern-ish direction, a large camp or village, he couldn't see what creatures lived there, but since the tracks turned southeast he guessed that Kaz's captors did.
Neb climbed down and set off in the direction of the village.

Elsewhere.
The leader of the Thri-Keen hunting party looked into Kaz's bamboo cell, seeing the elf still unconscious he gnashed his mandibles in appreciation of his subordinates psionic talents, he'd stunned her while sleeping almost a 1/3rd of a day ago and she was stiull unconscious.
He left the cell and returned to the others to prepare for their annual feast to honour their gods. Lucky that they'd captured this elf, the tradition of the feast called for delicious elven flesh and without having to raid the elven forests to the south. They'd left the human alone, for they'd learned not to fight the robed ones since they often wielded magic.
In three days the feast would commence....

Neb stopped rest for a while, it would take him at least two days to reach the village, he could see that, he had no doubt that it was a Thri-Keen village now though, a short while ago he'd passed Thri-Keen territorial boundary markers which clearly informed any strangers to stay away, he'd ignored them and continued onwards.
