Kaz and Neb had been delayed in reaching Athkatla because a large orcish warparty had marched across the route they'd planned to take, their detour had taken them south, out onto some flat plains....
Night was falling and the two decided to make camp, after lighting a campfire and eating some rations Neb offered to take the first watch while Kaz slept.
He sat with his back to the fire and gazed upwards, looking at the stars for a while, eventually however, exhaustion overwhelmed him and he fell asleep.
The next morning Neb woke up, yawned and went to wake Kaz so they could continue their journey to Athkatla, Kaz, however, was missing.
Neb went into a panic, looking around to see where she might have gone, all of her things were still there, he searched the ground and found the marks of insectoid feet, only barely visible and heading further south.
He knew of only one race which would kidnap elves.... Thri-keen, large insect-men 7 feet tall with four arms, they looked like praying manti and had a taste for elven flesh, he HAD to find Kaz before they ate her, this was HIS fault, he shouldn't have let himself fall asleep....
Neb took his things and followed the tracks southward....
(OOC: Kaz has been kidnapped by Thri-keen, they're usually 7 feet tall, have four arms, look like praying manti and are sand-coloured, they also often have Wild Talents(50% of all Thri-keen are gifted with one or two random psionic powers.), they're capable of leaping up to 50 feet forward or 20 feet upwards and their bites carry a paralyzing venom.)
