(ooc this is the history of my character Thalali Foxwwod)

“Mother what’s it like outside the water?” asked Thalali. Ever since Thalali was a child he has been interested in the outside world. Thalali had read every book the underwater had to offer about the outside word. One day he would leave this underwater prison and learn about the other things the world had to offer. He had learned about the grass and the trees from the books he read but he had never learned of things like hobgoblins or ogres. He only knew of the underwater beasts. Thalali was a thief /assassin by nature. He would do any thing for gold or treasure. What he also read about the upper world was that there were a great amount of treasure. He decided one night that he would sneek to the upper world while every body was sleeping. He went to the old museum that had things from the upper world. He went there every day to admire one thing the bow that had a satchel of arrows. He picked the lock on the glass display case. He finally got it, the one thing he admired most the bow and arrows. After the gaurds at the gate fell asleep he crept through pulled the lever that controlled the gate and he escaped to the surface. It was different up here he had to use lungs a major organ he never knew he had. He couldn’t swim any more his body felt too heavy. He was going to be crushed he was tired he needed to sleep. He woke up to the soft shimmering sound of the waves in the distance. He was bouncing up and down now he heard the sound of click clack on gravel. He had never heard this sound before and it sounded weird. An weird looking man was looking at him he also looked weird he wasn’t very hand some and look wrinkly. “Who are you and where am I”, asked Thalali. “You are in the city of Bauldurs Gate and I am Orion”, replied the old man. Thalali got to his feet and asked where he might find treasure. “You might find it in the Nashkel Mines But they are riddled with monsters and traps and you will surely be killed if you go alone.” Thalali thought for a while and looked at his bow and arrows at the end of the cart. “How do I use this weapon,” Thalali asked the old man. The old man showed him how to fire and care for the bow and arrow. When Thalali learned how to fire it the old man gave him some arrows of biting and warned him only to use them in case of dire emergency. The old man then lead him to the stables taught Thalali how to ride a horse and sent him with a map to Amn and said look for others like you sea elves you might like to look for moon elves also because it seems you have some of their blood. With that Thalali set out for Amn looking for treasure and adventure.
