Carlos looked into her dark eyes, in them, a sense of desperation mixed with hope had struck him right there. How similar! The peaceful look on Sharlor's face once again surfaced in the paladin's realm of memories. He felt a strange feeling grabbed his chest. Closing his eyes, he took in a deep breath, and gentlely closed the door in his mind rest well for now, my dear friend.
"Hope..." he mumbled "Isn't that what drives us to move on?" he quietly spoke to himself.
Looking up once again, he stared into the woman's eyes "Very well, it is my sacred duty to accompany those who dare to walk the dark trail and battle the demons within. May Helm grant you courage." He bowed to the woman, swore friendship and loyalty.
