"Send in five of our most heavily armed squads, tell them to kill ANYTHING that moves."

(Cargo hold/Engineering)

The group of soldiers advanced slowly down the corridor, they were heavily armed and ready to kill, but this was just scary, bodyparts and internal organs were spread around the corridor and their motion scanners were detecting movement everywhere around them.....

"This is scaring the s*** out of me sir."
"Keep cool private, we can handle anything that lunges at us."
"Hey, where's Ron and Tanner?"
"Oh crap, they're gone....."

A sound behind them made the two soldiers turn around suddenly and fire madly down the corridor, after a few seconds of firing they saw that nothing was there and went over to investigate what had made the sound.

Shining his flashlight on the object that had fallen from a vent and made the sound, the leader saw that it was a human skull, looking up at the vent again he saw something that bit into his head, crushing his skull and brain and killing him swiftly.

The private lived for about five seconds longer since he'd run when he'd seen the skull, didn't help him much when five of the things swarmed him after he ran down a dark corridor.

"Sir, we've lost two more squads and the things are starting to get out of the engineering and cargo hold areas by using the air vents, that way they're avoiding our guards and security weapons."
"Arm the passengers, we're going to need all the help we can get."
"Yes sir." *speaking through intercom* "All passengers report to your nearest security station for a weapon, we might have unidentified alien lifeforms aboard the ship."

(OOC: Think of these things as giant spiders which have been genetically modified to kill, they've got a queen/leader-like thing down in the cargo hold, it's what allows them to work intelligently together, without it they're totally mindless.)
