Taken aback by this revelation and still unable to speak or see, Breanna fights for control over the fear and helplessness which threatens to consume her. There must be a way out of this - there MUST be!

Backing into a corner of the room for protection, she mentally sorts through her mind for a spell that will help. Then she feels a tingle in the air and everything seems to stop. She realizes someone has cast a spell affecting Time itself and uses this pause to cast a spell of Seeing. It allows her to scry without the use of her eyes.

She can 'see' Hiram gripping his hammer ready for battle, Azure poised with hand on his sword and Link with a sword at a demon's throat. A DEMON??? Breanna ponders, what is happening here? I have very few spells that would be effective against a demon. Hmmm...Link is half demon - I wonder if this has anything to do with him? Maybe he can persuade this demon to leave. She continues scrying the area and finds Neb hiding. Breanna thinks: Probably best at this point. I'm not even sure what a sorcerer could do against a demon.

Time starts up again and Breanna's breath catches as she 'watches' the scene unfold.....
