The silence in the room was palpable. Neb’s voice pulled each from their thoughts. This was most disturbing news to know that they were traveling with a half demon. “I’ll tell ye later, laddy. Ye kin get yer stuff. There is something quite wrong with this building. I kin feel it in my gut”

Breanna stood and then stumbled over. She knelt and starting sobbing. “There is much evil in this very building. I know it. Paladine’s blessing upon us, but we must be on the road to the Boogre Bear’s cave. Link agreed because he sensed that something was amiss although he unconsciously cringed when he heard the name of the god.

Breanna then collected herself long enough to stand and fetch some spell components. “Hiram, please lead the way. I need you to be my eyes. I’m slowly losing my eyesight. While I still can see, let me cast some protective spells upon you. She then gesticulates and speaks in her guttural arcane language. Hiram feels nothing but knows that it makes her feel better to do that magic thing.

The three gentlebeings slowly leave the room with Breanna in tow. She follows by the sound of the armor clanking and Hiram’s grunting. The four stop when they get to the bottom of the stairs. The fetid smell of hell greets them. On the floor of the tavern is the most evil symbol known to the realms. Breanna cannot see what the males see but immediately prays a small prayer to her goddess for protection. The sight of the tavern is so gut wrenching that the group turn their heads away for a second to collect some sanity in a quite insane situation. What was left of the patrons was strewn about the bar. Burned into the wall is a message in Elvish. It says…
