When I kill the hydra, the game crashes in the following manner: The curser wors and is animated and music plays but all other motion stops until I hit the hardware reset key. CTL-ALT-DEL does not work.
I've reduced graphics all the way, and tryied hardware mode to no avail. Also, the game crashes when I try to teleport, vanish, or call home. What do I do?

ASUS M3P MB with AMD k6/2 550 mhz
196MB PC 100 SDRAM, 170MB free before game loads, explorer and systray only in background
Awe 32 with 8MB

4GB free drive space, de fragged. 20GB total space on Ultra 66 IDE chanel 1
1.2 GB SCSI-2 swap drive
50x diffential CD-ROM on channel 2, DMA 2 mode
Win98

Netgear 310tx netwrok card
Adaptec 2630 SCSI card
Power managment and screen saver disabled. Hard drive power down disabled in BIOS, OS and via direct drive commands
