Hi there,

Vine magic seems to be often ignored, but its great stuff. A good thing to do is become a Ranger for a while, and get all the Vine spells. Cure Poison and such are really great. Whirling Dervish can create some chaos, just becareful, because it come back at you really easy and it does a lot of damage.

A monk can only learn Spirit spells...only a Ranger and Priest can learn Vine. Try turning your friend into a Warlock to max out his vine spells already.

For getting the most magic, follow this path with magics:
Think of your destination class, and ignore whatever magic they will have with that class, unless you are a Barbarian, which learns no magic.

1. Wizard - Stone, Sun (max out Stone ASAP)
2. Samurai - Sun (max out Sun if you havent already)
3. Ranger - Vine
4. Ninja or Bard - Moon
5. Paladin or Monk - Spirit
6. Warlock - Concentrate on Fiend, and get the rest you have missed.

Keep in mind, only a Wizard can learn Stone. A Warlock can only learn it if you had it previous, unfortunately. Also, a Valkyre can learn Stone, but you're going to have to wait a LONG time to see one...

From here, figure if your final class is for ex Ninja, ignore the Moon magic early on, and then get it when you switch to final class.

If you do this right, you will end up with all the spells. I have a Faerie who has almost all the spells, and will have em all soon. His final class will be a Monk, but with every spell in the game.

Give it a try.
