Oops, made a little mistake.
Go up the ramp and take the doorway on the right of the Medusa wall, go straight, follow the bend till you're in the room with wooden floors. You see you can jump down to the pit below. There's a chest there with the monkey. When you leave run out, the door slams shut quickly and hits one of your characters.
