My Main char is a specialist mage so i needed a lot of heavy fighters up the front to serve as a bit of protection. I thought that the choice was pretty good. Granted as you said there isnt much specialisation apart from korgan but he was ruled outa me team cos the rest were all Good alignment. I found that although the NPC's lacked specialisation a greater empahsis on magic use with wider range of spells and magic wepaons etc made up for this lack of special skills.
