If you have downloaded the Infinity Engine Editor Pro from TeamBG then you may fix this particular eye-sore. Edit "clck26.itm" from your override folder and add the following equipping effect: disable visual effect, then choose the "spell trap" effect to disable. This makes all visual effects go away; you may leave the cloak like this or add the "spell turning" effect (glowing circle beneath your feet) back to the cloak. Once you load ToB, you'll also notice that the cloak doesn't work exactly like it used to in SoA....
