some suggestions. for NWN, BG3, new addon, unofficial expansions, patches, i dont care:

make items stay on someone when the die unless the items are picked up, so the player can revive them and not have to worry about which pile of debri belongs to which ex-corpse.

can we have proper avariel in the game? cos then aerie could get her wings back (a fairly major side quest would be in order of course) and maybe stop bloody complaining.

put all the additional races/kits into BG1 so we can play chars straight through properly. course this is probably more one for teambg.

larger parties. not so that it becomes and RTS instead of an RPG, but maybe allow people to join briefly for quests instead of having to dump someone.

some items:
bracers of quad damge, useable by fighters, these awesomely powerful bracers multiply all damage suffered/inflicted by 4. they use charges and carry a 2% chance of permanetly loosing one point of STR, with a 10% on using the last charge.

ring of demon control

this ring allows the wearer to cast charm demon 3 times a day

keyring : like a gembag, but for keys.

long sword of perfect defence:

usable by anyone, this sword takes complete control of the wielder during combat. this makes it impossible for the wielder to voluntarily break combat, instead he will stay in contact with the enemy, perfectly parrying every move he makes. the result is that he becomes immune to melee damage, although the sword offers no defence against magic or missile attacks. this sword is primarily for use by those who would not normally be able to survive melee combat and do not intend to get that close.

pouch of plenty : like the box,bag and quiver of plenty, but instead giving infinite +1 darts. (upgradeable)

spells:

ultimate restoration:

this quest level cleric spell allow everyone else in the party to regain all hit points, spell memorisations, and fatigue levels. it also removes all negative status effects such as level drain and poison. the downside is its massive casting time (20) and the effect upon the caster, which is to set them to 1 hp, all stats set (temporarily) to 3, and fatigued. in the case of an already wounded cleric behind the front lines, this trade-off might be seen as acceptable.

spell drain:

most magic attempts to destroy the opponents body, this attacks his mind. in the case of a non-spellcaster, the spell will efftivley equal the spell feeblemind. in the case of a spellcaster, each spell memorised will suffer a 10% chance of being lost. in the case of a sorceror there shall be a 20% chance for each remaining instance of each spell level to lost one casting form that spell level. innates are not effected. sequencers and contingencies are not effected.

melfs magical blunderbuss:

although based on the same principles as magic missile, this spell fires several dozen smaller(2 damage) magic fragments in a spread pattern, similar to a shotgun or bludnerbuss. anyone in the area of effect suffers d4 damage per level, save vs spells for half.

dragon summoning:

no copies of this insanely dangerous spell are known still to exist after the mage who wrote it became one of the first casualties. this spell summons d3 dragons, either chromatic or metallic. since dragons almost never take kindly to being disturbed, it is unlikley that anyone, including, the caster will survive the result.

vengeance:

a mage who is unable to avoid death can instead use the energies associated with the afterlife to drag the soul of his killer with him. this spell is cast before the battle and will fizzle harmlessly if the mage is still alive after 1 hour. if the mage is killed during battle, his killer will automatically die. there is a 25% chance of the mage being resurrected in the energy reslease, 50% chance of dying normally with a chance of resurrection, and 25% chance of being utterly destroyed for all eternity.

oh, and sephiroth. you may want to consider copyright issues with inserting your sword into BG2 officialy w/o consulting squaresoft. besides i dont think infinity supports 7 foot blades!
