I dual classed a Kensai with a thief. I got control of the
thieves guild and then control of the keep. I posted this
same topic about a month ago. Someone said that, depending
on the order that you do things, you can control two places.
As for your first question. Yes, you don't need to have her
in the party to gain control of the keep.
