to take a RL example that will no doubt offend many people, do u think bin laden would still be alive if the americans were using his tactics? course he woudnt, hed have so many bio-weapons and chemical weapons in his backyard thjat people 1000 miles away would get infected. but the americans dont go into genocide, so hes still around.

ROFL, don't make a big deal about something I said man, relax.
Just a quick example then, in which a good party could be considering killing the 5 Sahuigin left isn't against their beliefs. Once you've looted the treasure room, you'll find a note, with the plans of the Sahuigin to invade the mainland, indicating that now the differences between the two factions are settled, they will build on an army to conquer the mainland. If you really role-played a Paladin for instance, he would consider that evil. He would think "Sahuigin are evil. Evil must be destroyed. Therefore all Sahuigin must be destroyed." Get it?

So you can roleplay a good party but still commit the "genocide" you're talking about. Though I think that term is a little hypocrite and inappopriate in this case...
