Get breach. I don't know if this spell is from the opposite school for necromancers but i don't think so. He's leveling up faster ? Well, that might be explained due to his placement in the group. Say you earn 1.000 exp points and have 6 party members. 1.000 can't be divided by six. So the game rounds the experience down to a number that can be divided by six. the leftovers are divided according to the placement of your characters.
