Jahera and Aerie is a fine combo for healing. There are some items later on that give you regeneration abilities as well... so don't worry bout it.
Steal yourself some regeneration potions for those really hurtting times. Also, remember that Jahera can cast a group heal type spell... the the dryad she summons (call woodland beings) can cast the spell as well. Call Woodland beings is a pretty darn powerful spell for that level actually. I believe that's a level5 druid spell.
