Imprisonment
You must try to have +4 or better weapons to defeat Kangaxx, other stuff that hurts him are the Ring of the Ram, Azuredge +3 and Mace of Disruption +1(2).
Stuff that protect you from Imprisonment, in descending order of effectiveness,
Protection from Magic scrolls( buy from Ribald in the Adventurers Mart)
Spell Immunity( choose the school of Abjuration)
Berserker's Rage
Spell Trap
Shield of the Archons
Note: Be wary of using Protection from Undead scrolls, it may screw up the dialogue script for Kangaxx.
