Hi.
Logic would suggest that you go back to an old saved game, hopefully one in which you didn't kill the Sea Bounty proprietor.
The other alternative would definitely have to be a cheat..... read on if you are still interested.
Enable debug mode in the BALDUR.INI file by entering the following in the [Program Options] secion of the file:
Debug Mode=on
In the game, place the cursor on Jan, when he is neutral (he will remain that way until you solve his quest) and press CTRL - Q. Hopefully this will force he to rejoin the party, but I don't know the repurcussions of doing this without completing his quest. I suggest you then high-tail outta there and proceed with the game.
