After downloading and opening IEEP, use the item maker to load "sw1h01.itm" (extracted using IE or WinBiff), enchanted to hit = 5, add the equipping effects "reduced damage from fire" of 50, "bonus to AC" of 2, and on the usability button put check-marks only for race = elf and class = fighter/mage; under extension headers put "thaco bonus" = 3.

Some time spent experimenting with items that already exist--to see how they are created--as well as making your own items will be invaluable. A weekend a research and development will put you well on the way to becoming a weapon-creation master. [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]
