I'm guilty of the same thing (restarting without completion, I mean).
I am sooooooooo sick of Irenicus' dungeon! I can even more or less quote what he says at the start scene:
"Ahh, the child of Bhaal has awoken. It is time for more... experiments."
*ZIIINNGG!* (whatever spells he's hurling)
"Interesting. You have much untapped power."
*ZIIIIINNNNGG!*
"Urghh!" (protagonist moaning)
"Do you even realise your potential?!"
etc, etc.
Anyway, I must have restarted about 10 times and am so relieved to know I'm not the only one
