Yeh, I once saw Minsc use Daystar to deal 51 + 9 + 8 + 46 + 1049 points of Sunray damage to the Shade Lich in the Unseeing Eye quest...I was totally jazzed - kept a screenshot so I could brag about it - until I realized that I had actually killed the lich's DOUBLE...he had just cast Mislead a few seconds earlier. Had to stop celebrating - still managed to stomp him, but what a waste of damage.
[Still would prefer, if possible, to have Anomen "Scanner" Delryn explode liches using hi-level Turn Undead...MUCH more satisfying to watch
