No, spell turning (lvl 7) is the best spell you can aquire.
If you want to turn the page, place it in your inventory, left-click on the book, select "turn page" and place it in your quik item slot.
To USE the spell you've selected, click on the "spell" option, when clicking it in the inverntory and then place it in your quik itme slot.
