some correspondence between STR and DEX regarding AC and armors. someone with 18/93 STR in full plate is going to be able to move around much easier than another with 16. it'd be a lil hassle in pnp to figure out, but some sort of DEX penalty based on how much weight youre carrying as compared to the max allowable. 50% or less, no penalty; 51-75 -1; 76-90 -2; 91+ -3.
THAC0 and weapons modified by DEX. this is why there are no rapiers in BG. even a long sword's use could be improved with a high DEX.
NO BACKSTABBING with anything longer than a short sword and that isnt a piercing weapon!!! puh-leez, what is all this crap about "stabbing" someone with a 4 foot blade???
no hiding in shadows while holding a GLOWING weapon... (and unsheathing is rarely silent at close range even with oiled scabbards).
BG only: there's no penalty to AC if you're immobilized
how stupid is that? a knight in plate mail is hard to hit; him being unconscious or held SHOULD make it easier...
