I don't know what type of character you have got, but my Kensai/Mage was dual-wielding blackrazor and celestial fury in ToB, and IMO you will need to use better weapons. You will need +5 and +6 weapons against some of the boss characters, for sure.
And, oddly, I never really noticed blackrazor level draining at all. Although I sometimes noticed getting hasted by it. I don't think its that great a sword.
