He's the only evil thief who can (sort of) join your party. Otherwise your best legit choice would be Jan, who happens to be the only thief who can advance his thieving skills.

Any suggestions on evil fighters and/or clerics to help round out an evil party? I haven't played one yet, but am a little discouraged by the overall lack of evil NPCs (as compared to BG1, which had a bunch of them). I never used CTRL+Q either (try to stay away from cheating, but oh why not?
), so does it give them a picture and voice of their own, or can you assign one to them?
