The first time ever playing through SoA I played a female mage. Right before entering the Underdark Viconia *took aside* my PC and told her that now we're amongst the drow she must use her womanhood with great power, and to never show weakness, especially to a man. Outside of a few instances of being treated differently, or with more respect because of being a woman that was it.
